Comeback! from Severe Ankle injury

After 96 days of no activity, I started running on Sept 4th. More like a deer with new legs. September 24, ran my fastest 5K in 11 years! It was first half of a 10k. I ran 22:53 despite having to walk uphill due to torn ligament. I smoked the rest and had to drop out of 10k as shoe outsole came off. I Still managed 2 more miles @ 7:33 each and found out I would have won the over 40 yrs 10K Overall!! I was upset cause I missed the win. But Happy.. happy because I'm back. Getting ready for two Half Marathons in 2 weeks. One Thanksgiving Day and the other Dec 10!
